There have been arguments about whether the use of such advanced technological devices is actually making us more stupid; suggesting that our brain need not rely on the power of memory as much as it used to. When all is said and done, this is somewhat irrelevant – so intertwined with out daily lives have such technological gadgets become, that it is genuinely difficult to image life without them!

So, what happens when the network your gadget relies upon to provide you with crucial information on the location of your next meeting lets you down? You can’t miss it because your livelihood relies on you making this meeting. You then find yourself waving your mobile device frantically in the air trying to connect to your network provider. Or you have to leave the comfort of your office desk, venturing into large, open outdoor spaces in an attempt to get that all important mobile signal.

I had some clients that work for a Czech company, and there no business is done without someone’s physical presence. There’s no getting away with conference calling.
